Study With Us
We offer world-leading programs across the IT spectrum at all of undergraduate, graduate coursework, and graduate research levels, to both Australian and international students.
Undergraduate
At the undergraduate level, we offer BSc majors in Computing and Software Systems, and in Informatics.
These majors provide a deep knowledge of technical material to serve as an entry point to careers in the broad IT industry, or as a foundation for further graduate-level study.
We also provide breadth options in Organisational Information Systems, Computing, and Informatics, to students undertaking other undergraduate degrees such as the BComm and BEnvs, who recognize the importance of IT across all disciplines.
A Diploma in Informatics is available to students who seek to crystallize that recognition into a formal IT qualification.
Graduate Coursework
At the coursework masters level, we have a range of specialist IT programs, including Computer Science, Distributed Computing, Information Systems, and Software Engineering.
Entry requirements vary across this suite of degrees, including some that do not require completion of an IT major at the undergraduate level.
Graduate Research
Our graduate research programs — the MPhil and the PhD — are built on world-leading projects and are led by staff with international recognition for their research contributions.
Students in the research degrees contribute to ground-breaking innovative activities.
